Our intention with this festival is to take our almost 35 years of combined experience to create a showcase for emo and pop punk burlesque, drag, and sideshow that, to our knowledge, has never existed on this scale. As part of this undertaking, we wish to have this project be a reflection of our politics and aim to not only have the selection process be as transparent and accessible as possible, but to also make sure all of our performers and festival staff get paid . We want the chance to create a weekender that we can truly be proud of at Coney Island USA, a historic venue we love.
